See how we help more than 10.000 families live in a smarter KNX smart home and feel more independent managing it based on Björn's story.
Björn can choose between different mobile apps and voice interfaces with one product.
"I am an iOS user so getting Apple Home + Siri voice control was an absolute must when I was deciding on a smart home server. A part of that app is also a friendly interface that enables me to set up new automation without learning to program ETS or paying for the license. I can even set up automation based on my location. At the same time, my wife uses Android - so we decided she uses a Google Home app."

"While Apple Home automations are great for things like reconfiguring KNX push buttons or setting up voice automation - the 1Home interface will take my home to the next level. For example, using house modes like 'home', 'away', and 'vacation' will trigger different sets of automation. Based on that I'll cover multiple energy-saving use cases which happen when I am at work. I will also be able to setup the house to simulate my presence when I am on vacation, for increased security."

"I planned to put all my critical infrastructure on KNX (lights, blinds, heating, ventilation) as I want it to work stably for decades. But if I realize I have to add another device after I move in, for example a reading light, I will be able to do that thanks to Matter to 1Home integration. I'll be able to simply add a Philips Hue light and still use it in automation with KNX so all my lights turn off when I leave the house. I'll also be able to do the same with contact sensors - just add a few on my windows via Matter - and then use it together in automation with my KNX weather station - and I'll get a notification every time my window is open and it starts raining."
"As an IT specialist, I would feel uncomfortable if my Integrator would use VPN for remote support. VPN sure is secure but I don't feel comfortable granting access to all devices connected to the router (even my smartphone or computer). This is why I was quite happy to know that with 1Home Integrator Support there is a secure connection established to my KNX server and the server only. I can even open and close access for him in my 1Home dashboard."
